Prior to moving to the United States in 2008, I worked for more than 8 years as a surgical room nurse in a cosmetic surgery clinic in my native country of Colombia. About Me, I have been a caregiver for over 15 years, first in a nursing home in my home town of Hillsboro, TX.. I worked as a CNA and also the Business Office for 10 years in the same facility. Then I tried Hospice care for about a year. Then I was a private sitter for a year and a half to an eldery woman. I have a passion for taking care of others who need it! And will take care of my patients to the best of my ability.

My personality traits that help me be a great caregiver are that I'm patient, flexible and have a great attitude. What attracted me to being a caregiver is that I love helping people. The thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is being able to help someone's loved one and put a smile on their face. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is being a CNA.
