I have in working with seniors for over 13 years. I have had the pleasure to work with seniors from all walks of life with a wide variety of health conditions. I am a firm believer in enhancing the lives of seniors and not focusing on their limitations. I have experience in Hospice care, ALS, Alzheimer's, COPD, Deafness, Dementia, Diabetes, Parkinson's disease, Stroke, and many more. My experience includes any and all of the following: personal care, grooming and toileting, bathing, and all activities of daily living. In addition light meal prep, grocery shopping, accompanying and driving clients to physicians appointments, and taking clients to outings such as the movie theater, and the mall for shopping, or out to dinner. I have worked in all types of senior facilities such as independent living, assisted living, and on memory care units as a private caregiver. Furthermore, as a respiratory therapist, I have been able to use my expertise to provide oxygen therapy, and or nebulizer treatments.
