I am a hard working compassionate Cna who believes in putting my patients first. I have 23 years of long term, geriatric, disable experience. I find it a complete honor to serve others that are in need.

I am a great caregiver because I care fully for the client. I follow all instructions to the letter and ask when unsure. I am attracted to caregiving because I am a caring person. My great grand parents were old and unwell; if only they had better care they would have lived just a little bit longer. I am attracted to caregiving because I think to hat I can make a difference. I enjoy being a companion to the elderly as well as fetching and bringing whatever it is they desire.

I'm a very upfront outgoing person. I've been a Certified Nurse Assistant since I was 18 yrs old. I was helping my Mom out with my Dad during his battle with lung cancer. I enjoyed giving my Dad one on one care. I cared for him while my Mother was at work. Allowing him to be comfortable in his own home. After he passed I went on to take the CNA, CMA, Phlebotomy class at Kilgore College. I enjoyed mostly the one on one time spent with my patients. Getting to know them. I've worked in Long term care facilities. Prisons, Home healths, Assisted living homes. I mostly enjoy going into the homes as a Companion. Just giving somebody the option of staying home. Helping them with all daily living routines. Allowing them to still stay active. Giving them respect, dignity. Also giving them all my attention.

Great question , my personality traits is Assisstant others making sure they are very comfortable with their living environment an myself as well .. What attracted you to being a caregiver ? What attracted me most is waking up seeing their smiles an hearing their voices either it was good or bad they always made my day . What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver ? What makes me a great caregiver is that it started with my mother who had breast Cancer and being the oldest I cared for my mother. I love cooking for my clients and being a good listener, and attending to their personal needs.

Hi! My name is Dina I am 50.I have a grown daughter and I have 2 grand babies . I live in Longview now. I have moved recently from the metroplex to be closer to the grand babies. I was in international imports for 23 years. And just realized I was just burned out and needed a changed and I had always wanted to be in healthcare. So I went to school and I received my patient care technician license. I cared for a woman that had a traumatic brain injury. I cared for a quadriplegic war veteran for a little while and then a little girl that was 8 and she was special needs that literally required me to be no more that 3 feet from her unless she was napping and then I could do her meal prep, light housework, laundry etc I think after being with her, I enjoy caring for kids That need a little extra as well as adults. The family I worked for had a 6 year old and we played games and had fun when able. I'm fun upbeat and can hang with the best of them well for a 50year old!

What make me be a great caregiver is the compassion and love that I have for people. What attracted me to being a caregiver was when I worked in the laundry at a nursing home and when I would take the residents their clothes and their call light would be on waiting for someone to help them, but no one would come, I would try and help them. That's when I decided to go get my CNA license. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is listening to my client talk about the good old days and their family and watch their eyes light up and see the smile on their face. The most personal achievement that I'm proud of as a provider is knowing that I was able to give a family member love one the proper care and love that they so deserve.

I have trained and worked as a CNA for over 25 years, which includes hospice. My experience far out way my training because of my desire to continually expand my skills and training, which adds to my services rendered to clients. There is no illness or disease I have not worked with. I will be a welcome asset to any client who acquire my services.
