I am a great caregiver, because I always do my best with alot of passion. My goal is to comport, encourage and make my client feel much better than I found them. Also i remind my clients to count their blessings more than what their facing on a daily basis. I always wanted to be caregiver because i knew i am capable and talented in bringjng a difference in people's daily life. I enjoy alot of things while I am delivering direct care to my clients . But one thing that stands out, when my client is doing much better that I found them because my care it brings alot of joy and encouragement that my goal as a caregiver is meet. I am a compassionate person who enjoy helping others. I'm a registered CNA with CPR/BLS and EKG training, in Texas. I have over 20 years of experience with the elderly and disabled. After many years of working in a Hospital Business Office by day and caring for a family member at night, I decided to become a Caregiver to others. I know first hand what it is like to need assistance with the care of a loved one and realizing that you can't be there 24 hrs a day. The uncertainty of trusting someone else to do it for you can cause anxiety. I promise you that I will treat your loved one with kindness, dignity and respect, the same way I would like my loved ones to be treated. This isn't just a job for me, it is a ministry and a passion.

I become a caregiver of my Mother-in-law for 6years, I realize I enjoy taking care of the elderly so I decided to do it and accept the offer of a friend to take care of her Mother-in-law and Father-in-law. As a Certified Nurse Aide of 30 plus years, I always give 101% of my service in caring for my clients. I am passionate of my work and love my job. As a young girl growing up I always felt strong about studying in the nursing field to advance in my career. I'm flexible, reliable, along with punctual. Nonetheless, I have capabilities to perform required duties such as walking, exercise, shopping, and transportation to health providers. Throughout my career choice as a caregiver, I have grown and become more compassionate and I love my profession.

The reason I became a caregiver is because when I was younger I took care of my grandmother and feel in love with the fact me taking care of someone with a passionate heart like mines. What I like most about being a caregiver is I love helping people. My personal achievement I'm proud of is that if I put a smile on my clients face my job has been done. My personality traits that I'm naturally a caring person and have compassion for others. I love to help others. I have the ability to bring my best qualities into my work environment and use them alongside the skills I have gained training in nurse assistant and medical assistant education. What attract me in been a caregiver is my mother who is a retired nurse for over 20 yrs and my grandmother who always helping people in need at her age of 91 she still does her part in the community. In 2010 my grandfather pass away of myeloma I was his caregiver. All this and more attracted me to become a caregiver. I enjoy most about been a caregiver is an opportunity to show love, respect, and dignity to those in need. It is a deeply fulfilling experience that allows me to learn more about myself and grow as an individual. Caring for someone is a powerful and intimate relationship that can bring about a strong connection and bond. When caring for someone, it is important to show love, trust, and understanding. What I can share is that integrity, competence, and humility--putting others first--are at the core of who I strive to be --in this life. These values guide how I serve, listen, and care for others each day. 2. Why did you become a caregiver? I became a caregiver because I truly love people. Serving others feels like one of the purest ways to express genuine love--the kind described by the writers of the New Testament. As Douglas Adams said, "To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity." 3. What do you like about being a caregiver? It brings me great joy to know my care meets a client's needs and gives their family peace of mind--allowing them to rest without worry or guilt. Having two disabled family members myself, I understand the trust and vulnerability that come with allowing someone into that circle of care. 4. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? I was privileged to serve on a professional team caring for a quadriplegic client, providing full home care--meals, bathing, transfers (without a Hoyer lift), and colostomy and catheter care. I was later chosen to assist a family supporting a loved one with severe Autism and, more recently, helped provide 24-hour care for another quadriplegic client requiring advanced support. Outside caregiving, I successfully self-prepared for a proctored Microsoft certification exam and have taught myself conversational Spanish and basic Mandarin Chinese. 5. Tell us something about yourself. I'm a grandfather of four and remain physically active. I'm also a lifelong student of the Bible who enjoys gospel hymns, nature, animals, gardening, walking, ping pong, and audiobooks.
