I'm energetic, healthy, fit, happy, and compassionate. I'm full of love for the Lord, for my husband, my two beautiful teenagers, my two dogs, and my cat. I enjoy teaching yoga and fitness classes, gardening, cooking, and snow skiing! I am the happiest when I serve my family and friends. Growing up with someone really special to me disabled fostered compassion, respect, & protection for others who may need a voice or a hand. I enjoy spending time with residents, talking with & learning from them. Knowing people's preferences and including them in their lives brings them such happiness and satisfaction, it makes me happy to know I made a difference in their lives. I was awarded employee of the month after 2 months of working in a long term facility for teamwork, respect for the residents, family & staff enough to hear & see them & paid attention to the little details that were important to them.

I'm a very patient and kind person. I love seeing people happy. Growing up watching my mom care for my grandmother is what really attracted me to be a caregiver. I enjoyed seeing my mom making my grandmother and other people that she cared for happy so I decided that I want to give the same happiness. I enjoy making people happy and getting to learn them. I would say my personal achievement is when I moved to texas.

I believe I am a great caregiver because I truly love taking care of others! I try to help as little as possible in certain areas, to let them still feel as independent as possible, being there when needed, and I believe it is their time to be pampered and spoiled. I think what I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is that I can make their lives a little easier and give the family's some comfort knowing that their loved ones are with someone that truly enjoys their job and " will take care of them as they would". What personal achievement I am proud of is completing school last year. It was worth it, and I enjoyed it so much I have returned to school to become an Activity Care Professional so that I may continue my journey with the elderly. It also showed me, I'm in the right place-helping the elderly. I am a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant,(NRCMA) ; and when I complete the program I am in now, I will be an Activity Care Professional, (ACP) and a Certified Nurses Assistant, (CNA); and I am CPR/BLS Certified. Also, have completed Covid19 awareness and safety classes and an additional 25 online courses at Care Academy. I have had both doses of the Covid 19 vaccine.
