I'm a very compassionate and given person. I have work in an environment of different cultures and religious beliefs. I like helping and working within my community. I enjoy making a difference everyday in one persons life. I have acquired a lot of experience dealing with emergency and multitasking.

I believe the things that makes me an excellent caregiver is my empathy and history with disabilities. My father was diagnosed with Parkinson disease when I was 8 years old and diagnosed with alzeimers when I was 13-14. I spent most of my time from the age of 8 learning how to care for my father and keeping him active. The thing I most enjoy about being a caregiver is the fact that it makes a difference in someone's life. It can make somebody's day if they have company. Daily activities aren't so stressful and it can help seniors feel comfortable. Lastly, A personal achievement I'm proud of is my time in the navy with 2 deployments.

Hello my name is Monica I became a medical assistant in 2008, but before pursuing my career I was also a caregiver working for a day care. I really enjoy helping others who need my assistants in what ever the situation may be. I am proud to say that I worked for Juvenile Detention caring for residents medical needs for 6 years. I try to be upbeat and positive as elderly sometimes need some cheer but also allow them their space . I've always been particularly caring for elderly its a passion The feeling of making a difference in someone's life no matter how small and the joy of bringing smiles in the end . Hospice care spending time and holding the hands listening being there when needed the most . I pride myself in always being punctual tend to mostly be early .as the elderly when expecting you can often become very anxious .as not to upset them always be on time with smile . I also consider myself a very good shopper and excellent cook with many years of medical experience. My personal achievement has always been in caring for geriatrics as they are our history and deserve kindness in there late years I am dependable almost always early have dependable transportation am a certified medical assistant with many years of on hands nursing experience . I worked in convalescent homes, nursing homes .. experienced and I really enjoy what I do.. My expertise's in being a caregiver is that I have been doing it all my life and I love what I do! I love to bring a smile to oyour loved one.. it makes me happy knowing that I gave that smile to someone.. my expertise's come from experience.. I worked at top hospitals, with children and adults... I worked with top Harvard Doctors who taught me how to be number 1 and treat my patients the same... I would say my personality is upbeat, happy, outgoing, silly at times.. and a great communicator.. I have so many achievements I'm proud of but I would have to say my latest one is Ysadore my sweetheart he can't talk and I looked at him and told him that I would help him have a voice so he can make decisions on his own.. instead of everyone making them for him and I did just that .. and I drove a 1 1/2 hours a day every day one way to take care of him because he was worth it!! I been taking care of the elderly for over 20 years. I was a CNA over 10 years I then furthered my education by going to school to be a Registered Medical Assistant but went back to working on my own working with the elderly because that's what I truly I enjoy.,

After many years in the medical field, I realized that my absolute favorite part of medicine was building one on one relationships with patients; and being involved in the process of improving their overall well being. I started in medicine at the age of 18 as a single mother, and have worked side by side with doctors for the last 20 years , gaining increasing great knowledge of safety, basic nursing skills, specialized nursing, evaluating patient needs, and helping to organize and assess patients' care and routine for a healthy life. I am excited to be able to work with patients on a case by case basic now that my children are older and my schedule is more flexible.
