It all stared when I was 13 years old my grandmother had dementia. I hope take care of her during this summer, and came back every weekend to be with her.. I love a challenge. I love people. I've been doing home health care on and off for the last 10 years.

As a Certified Nurse Aide of 30 plus years, I always give 101% of my service in caring for my clients. I am passionate of my work and love my job. As a young girl growing up I always felt strong about studying in the nursing field to advance in my career. I'm flexible, reliable, along with punctual. Nonetheless, I have capabilities to perform required duties such as walking, exercise, shopping, and transportation to health providers. Throughout my career choice as a caregiver, I have grown and become more compassionate and I love my profession.

Hello, First I'd like to share a few things about my experiences as a CNA/caregiver. I have always been a nurturing person first as a child and continuing through adulthood, It brings me great pleasure to help everyone I can. I started my career in 1993 by attending a State licensed class and being state certified to work as such. I have continued my education for 28 years now and I am told I bring great skill set to many homes and individuals. I have worked as a CNA in Hospitals, Home Health, Physical Rehabilitation Centers, Nursing Homes and Private Duty Requests. I enjoy them all. I've worked with Hospice,Alzheimer's, dementia, diabetes, strokes, obesity, bed bound clients such a paraplegic and quadriplegic, ALS clients, PTSD clients, schizophrenia clients, post surgical and more. I offer help with ADLs, showers, bed baths, exercise, meal preparation, vital sign checks, medication reminders, doctor appointments, and more.

Ability to multitask and respond to patient needs. Being attentive to patients' well-being and safety. Caring and patient manner. Monitoring and scheduling medical appointments. Cooking meals and handling other household duties.

I am a very outgoing person. I love to help people from all walks of life. I love that I know my purpose here in life is to serve and connect with people And be the best version of myself. I have been in the medical field since 2006. It is the best career path I find to be. My best rewards I have received is watching someone recover from the outcome of any situation in life. And knowing I had a little part in it brings me joy. Faith Forward!

I started this professional career in 2009 after my dad had a stroke and of course I wanted to step in and take care of him. I realized after he passed away that this was my calling. I am caring, compassionate, confident and exude enthusiasm as well as personality plus!! I'm an excellent caregiver because I love what I do and I strive to always be the best in whatever I'm doing. My greatest personal achievement's have been raising 2 beautiful daughters as a single mom. The other would be going back to school and achieving my CNA & Phlebotomist license. I love being a voice for the elderly when they don't have one and love taking care of them as if they we're my own parents or grandparents. I have been in the healthcare field over nine years. I am currently going to school now for my CNA... I lobes being a Caregiver. It's where my heart and passion at. I promise my mother before she past away. That this is what I wants to do with my life. And I won't stop until I become a RN. I treats my patients as my own. And never a blunt moment with them.

What makes me an amazing caregiver is my ability to show empathy, compassion, love, and willingness to do whatever it takes to make sure my client is taken care of like they are my own family! I have seen the consequences of people not taking pride in this line of work and it really makes me work harder to give my residence the care that I one day hope to receive. I will always go the extra mile even on a hard day. I think what attracted me most to being in this line of work is my ability to make a difference in the lives that I touch each day! My favorite part of this job is coming in and getting to know my clients. Their likes, dislikes, favorite food, activities, their families, I love learning about what makes them who they are! With that being said, it is not only a great way to exercise companionship, but also allows me to have a better understanding of their behaviors and how to help them cope if one has been diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer's! At the end of the day, as much as we may want to, we cannot always be with our loved ones which is why it is so important to find care that treats them as their own! If I am able to make someone's time with me a little brighter with a smile, or their favorite meal, or even with a fun activity than I can rest a little easier at night knowing I am making a special impact on the ones we love and adore most!!

I have always had a caregiving nature. I've always been the one to watch the room for the underdog and to take care of the sickly. I'm compassionate yet Strong. I'm also thick skinned, so mood swings do not affect me on a personal level. I've been involved in multiple types of care ranging from child care as I am also a mother of three, senior care, post-surgery (All ages-mandatory and elective), care Hospice care, respite relief care. My personality is energized and empathetic.
