I have been a cna for 10 years and a medication aide for 4 years. I was also a therapy tech for two years.

I have about 15 years of experience in taking care of elderly in their private homes and in health facilities. I really enjoy this job because it allows me to express my passion to those who need love and care in their different situations. I am very hard working, competent, caring, reliable and honest.

I'm reliable and caring and have compassion. I worked with patients in the nursing home, home care and hospice care. As caregiver I feel the desire to want to help patients. By showing empathy and compassion. I as a caregiver I will let the patients know that I care about them. I like doing work for patients to make a difference in their life. My grandparents attracted me to becoming a caregiver. I enjoyed taking care of my elderly family members and would like to continue the process of helping Patients. Caring and patience is the key to being a great caregiver.

MET ALOT OF WONDERFUL AND CARING PEOPLE WHAT I LOVED ABOUT MY JOB WAS FEELING FULFILLED THAT I HAD MADE A DIFFERENCE IN SOMEBODYS LIFE IF EVEN FOR A LITTLE BIT I TREAT ALL OF MY CLIENTS THE WAY I WOULD WANT TO BE TREATED WHEN THE TIME COMES FOR TO BE TAKEN CARE. THE ONLY REASON I LEFT MY JOB WAS SO I COULD BE CLOSER TO MY FAMILY WHO I AM VERY CLOSE TO, I LEFT A GOOD STAFF, WE WERE A GOOD TEAM AND ALWAYS PRIDED ON BEING THE BEST OF THE BEST.

I became a caregiver/ certified nursing assistant on August 8 2003. I love the healthcare/medical field. I chose this path because I have always had a passion for taking care of people. I come from a family of nurses and caregivers. I have worked in hospitals, home care, rehabilitation and assisted living. I've always had something in me to help others. What I love best about my job is being there for someone who has kind of lost their way of being there for themselves like they used to and I want to help them gain that back or at least be there for them as their backbone and build a relationship. It feels good to go home at the end of my day to know I made a difference in someones life. I am proud of how far I have came into making a difference in my clients lives. 15 years and i'm still doing it and to my best ability. I wouldn't want it any other way. I enjoy knowing my clients are happy and secure. I am from Omaha,Nebraska and I have been in Texas for 6 years now. If someone asked me to describe myself I would say I'm patient, consistent, respectful, dependable, trustworthy, giving, and I'm a outgoing individual.

I have been a certified nurses aide for about 10 years and my experience mainly includes working in a long term care facility, with some home health and private sitting jobs part time throughout the years. I am also a medication aide and have been certified for 7 years. I'm compassionate about what I do and hard working. I am currently taking prerequisite classes to apply to nursing school next year to get my RN/ADN. I enjoy helping in a private setting because I'm able to spend the one on one time as opposed to in a facility you have to divide your time to ensure your job gets done.

I am a kind loving caring person who absolutely loves people. I love being a CNA and getting to be a little part of so many lives. I've always wanted to be a CNA but the cards didn't line up for me until a few years ago. I knew without a doubt when my grandpa got sick and I had to take care of him that this is what I had to do, it was definitely my calling in life. I'm a big hearted person who loves to take care of others.

I understand that every person is different, and may not be able to communicate well verbally. Taking care of people mostly elderly has always been something i love to do. The best part of care giving is, that i can encourage the elder people to keep challenging themselves, not to give up and always keep a strong positive attitude towards themselves. What i want to achieve towards care giving is Providing exceptional palliative care to the elderly, and providing them with a happy and comfortable life.
