I am applying for work in the DFW area and will be available several days a week. I've enjoyed caring for elderly and/or disabled individuals and helped to improve their quality of life. Nurturing and caring for others is something that has been very natural for me and I have had the great privilege of being a mother to 5 of my own children and now the grandmother of 6. I've seen the need for more trustworthy, quality Caregivers and strive to be one of them. My desire is to improve quality of life and bring a sense of calm assurance, stability and safety to others at a time when their world has been shaken by illness or injury. I am level headed, practical minded and very compassionate. In my experience, kind sensitivity and preserving dignity can be healing in many ways. I've also had the opportunity to be a caregiver for local clients as well as my own mother after colon cancer and taking care of my brother with difficulties regarding Parkinson's.
