Hi, my name is Lynette. I'm a very nurturing and passionate caregiver of 14 years. PCA certified since 2005, Medication Technician certification since 2015, and CPR/ First Aid certified. I became interested in the healthcare field during my teenage years assisting my aunt with her patients. My most enjoyable moments of caregiving is being able to assist with daily living by giving the client as much independence as possible. Watching the excitement on their faces as they accomplish different tasks is so liberating. Most greatest achievement I'm proud of would be my capabilities and willingness to help service people with healthcare needs.

I am a good caregiver because i"ve been doing this humble profession for over 22yrs. though i had an 8 hrs job before, i still do it on a weekend or sometimes during the night if some clients will request. I love the elderly because for me they are the most interesting people to be with, no boring time being with the old community. They always have an interesting story to tell, sick or well they are still interesting, For me, I treat them as my own, some of them are worrier, some of them are lonely, some of them are happy go lucky but most of them just need our kindness and compassion. I am a good cook, i work in an organized and systematic manner with the application of proper technique and dedication. i see to it that the client will be properly taken care of. Most of all I give them my tender love and care , see to it that i treat them with respect and dignity.

I love working with senior citizens! Helping seniors preserve their dignity and respect is my primary goal. I became a professional caregiver because it's rewarding to give back to seniors lives. I pride myself in being friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable, and supportive!

I have 3 years experience working as a caregiver. My expertise is that I am told that I am a great Cook. I prepare seasoned regular diets as well as low salt, low cholesterol diets. What attracted me to bring a caregiver is working with seniors one on one. What I enjoy most about being a Caregiver is how surprised my patients are with the food the I prepare for them. In addition to being a Caregiver I am most proud of starting my own residential cleaning service in 2022

PCA Certified 2020 CPR/First Aid 2020 Why did I become a care giver? In 2003 I started working in an Assisted Living part time where I was trained in medication management and went to a training course on Alzheimer's. When I retired from the Federal Government I started working at places like Senior Corp and Visiting Angels. I decided to go private and my first case was hospice and my last case was care giving and hospice. What attracted me to care giving is my compassion, empathy, and the love of taking care of someone who needs my help. I am friendly, happy-go-lucky and full of life. I believe God led me to taking care of seniors and I have been doing this work over 10 years. What makes me a great caregiver is taking my job seriously, being on time, and doing schedules for all the caregivers, making sure the client does not run out of supplies and make sure my client is comfortable and happy at all times. A personal achievement I am proud is I was in the Newsletter at Visiting Angel where I received 10 because my client's son gave me a week off with pay around the holidays. This has never happened to any other caregiver at Visiting Angels. I am proud to go from caregiver to hospice because I want to make sure my client is comfortable and not in pain before passing.
