I am a good caregiver because i"ve been doing this humble profession for over 22yrs. though i had an 8 hrs job before, i still do it on a weekend or sometimes during the night if some clients will request. I love the elderly because for me they are the most interesting people to be with, no boring time being with the old community. They always have an interesting story to tell, sick or well they are still interesting, For me, I treat them as my own, some of them are worrier, some of them are lonely, some of them are happy go lucky but most of them just need our kindness and compassion. Ive been a CNA for 20 yrs, received my license in North Carolina in 2001 and in Virginia in 2009. I believe the most important thing that makes me a great CNAs is patience and understanding. The reason why I became a CNA is I find joy in the elderly. They are knowledgeable, they make you laugh,and you can learn alot from them. I get great joy in seeing the smiles on their faces because they're pleased with me.

I am a 23 year old college student from Upstate, NY! I began doing private in home care cases immediately after graduating when I was 17. I have a strong passion for working with others and I enjoy having an impact on the elders and or disable members of my community. In my free time I do a lot of community service and volunteer work. I am also a Certified Medication aid, BSL/ First Aid Certified.
