I'm a mother of two and a daughter. My mom lives with me. I'm a military spouse. I'm very compassionate, understanding and have big heart for elderly. I grew up with my grandparents since my father passed before I knew him. And my grandparents passed before I can give them the care they need. For that reason alone give me motivation to give the love for my grandparents that they never had from me to passed it on to other elderly people. I always treat them as my own grandparents. I have my CPR and BLS. I have food handling permit. I have my NAR and working to my CNA next month. Taking some of my pre-requisite to my Nursing degree.

I have a passion of helping others its make me fell great .I enjoy when I see my client big SMILE after care looking at me saying thank for all u have done for today.Iam proud of keeping my client at there home safe and comfortable.

I have always had the passion to improve the quality of life for others around me and to give them the one on one attention. I am patient, friendly, supportive, and very caring, and understanding of current issues that they are battling on a day to day basis. I enjoy seeing improvements within my clients, seeing a small tasks achieved after hard work, the desire to live a fulfilling life. Knowing that I can make small difference in someones life whether once or multiple times it is the best reward.

I'm a young 19-year old gentleman that loves working with people and people with disabilities to make a difference in their lives. For that reason, I started working with Kokua and still do so as a Life Skill Instructor. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is getting know each individual client and making their lives that much easier in whatever possible way I can. I can work with another staff or independently with a client. I'm a quick learner and an informed learner, I'm capable of multi-tasking and work efficiently, capable of lifting well over 80 lbs, can cook, can perform personal care, and can do house cleaning. I've worked in highly stressful situations during my time at Kokua. I've recived recognition of a $25 gift card for working hard and helping out covering open shifts(60hrs/wk) while attending school full-time at the same time. I've also received recognition by my staff and coordinator of handling a stressful situation that my client and my life were in danger. I look forward to growing as a caregiver and making more positive impacts with the clients I work with or will be working with in the future.

Summer of 2003, 2004, 2005: Camp Camp for special needs children.

I Love making a difference on others lives, extending kindness through caregiving jobs, I feel that it's my pride to leave a smile when I make that difference of which is found in caregiving jobs.

I am awesome because I am happy, funny, outgoing and always full of energy! I love helping, caring for and getting to know people.

I am very compassionate, dependable and honestly feel there is no greater feeling in the world than to see someone smile because of the simple act of kindness. Being able to have such a positive impact on others is an amazing feeling, and I am truly blessed with the opportunity to be doing something I love.

I strive to provide a positive and enthusiastic living environment for those I support. I have worked as a caregiver in Oregon, California and Washington. I went into caregiving with an open mind and ended up loving what I do. What I enjoy most about caregiving is the companionship you build with those you support. I enjoy making a positive impact on those I interact with. I am proud of everything I have accomplished and learned while in this field of work.
