I have always enjoyed taking care of others. Watching my Dad suffer from Dementia for 10 years, built my desire in assisting others to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. I became a caregiver in 2011 to take care of my father in law until he passed away in 2013. I found this profession to be very rewarding and chose to pursue it. Building relationships with our elders, listening to their life experiences, helping with their daily activities brings me much joy. The personal achievement that I am most proud of I think would have to be my compassion and desire to help others as well as going back to school to obtain my NAC. My husband and I have been married for 34 years and have lived in Arlington for the past 24 years. We have a 28 year old daughter. A year ago we gained full custody of a 5 year old. I have spent the last year at home, devoting my time to him. He is now secure, doing well in school, it's time for me to get back out into the work force.

I am very a hard working person. I take good care of my patient. I know how to cook, clean, and make the patient comfortable when I am taking care of them. I know how to clean and change bags for catheters (men and women). I am very patient and understanding.

Iam have experience for more than 10years in this feild. I worked in the rehab/ nursing home, assistant living, adult family home and one on one on private home too. I have worked in all level of care to gain experience so that I can work as a independent person .I also know can cook good healthy food.i use to be a manager for afh.

I became a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1994. I worked as a NAC until 2007, when I became part of the rewarding Therapy Department at Regency Care Center. I remained working for Regency Care Center until December 2014, doing NAC duties and Restorative Care. I had a very rewarding position and it showed in my residents. My residents were always clean and happy.
