Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Caregivers in Grays River - 5 caregivers found

I am a CNA based out of Astoria, Oregon looking to be a meaningful caregiver as I finish my nursing degree this spring. I am looking for a more flexible schedule as I am awaiting preceptorship placement for Jan-March, and will not know that schedule until beginning of January most likely.

I am a friendly, but shy person, I have been told i am a very natural caregiver as i am acaring person by nature. My 5 children and 2 granddaughters are my biggest accomplishments

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others no matter what it is, I take pride in all of my work. I enjoy knowing I just changed the life of someone Wether it was big or small. Not everyone can get out and do what they want but knowing I helped one person achieve a goal for themselves is a great feeling, whether it's getting up in the morning to cook breakfast, or going out in the afternoon for a short walk.

I became a caregiver completely by accident. I was totally new to the career field when I started, but now I love it. I take pride in the fact that I can help people with aspects of their lives that have become challenging, and at times, impossible. I enjoy being someone the clients are glad to see each day I spend with them. I have achieved alot of personal growth during the 6 years I've been a caregiver. Each client had given me a differnt perspective on many things, as well as some good life lessons. I'm sort of shy at first when meeting new clients, but I've come to understand that the transition is just as, if not more so uncomfortable for them. I've come to see that it's not easy for someone who was once fully independant, now has to rely on someone else for even the simplest things. My job is make their lives a little less stressfull, and to make their day a little more brighter, if I can.
