I am a hard working, professional but also friendly person. I have experience taking care of my mother through many surgeries and illnesses. I have worked in the service industry since I was 14 years old. I have been a pharmacy technician for the last 8 years. I enjoy helping people and do so whenever and wherever I can.

I became a caregiver because seeing my own parents age, I needed to care for them and discovered it to be very satisfying to help people that are in need of a little extra help while keeping there dignity intact.

I enjoy working with all kinds of People specially ones that have needs and I am able to assist. I enjoy helping them get around and make them feel happy.

I started caregiving with my own mother at the age of 14. When my mother passed away at in my arms I knew that it was my calling to provide elderly with the stability and comfort they deserve to be able to stay in their own homes and feel loved and cared for like they deserve.

I care about helping elderly people and children that have a disability. When you love taking care of people and it's a blessing to want to do it, because some elderly people don't have family and you willing to step in and help.. God will bless you. You have to treat people the way you want to be treat.. One day we going to get old and we need the help. My achievement is that I help them to do whatever needs to be done, while they in my present of care.

I have been doing in home senior care for 2+ years. With a local company. I care for my Mother on all post-op situations. I also give her support care weekly. I have just completed the AR CNA course testing out at: 100%+5 written, and 99% clinical. I will test with the state soon. I am out going.l, Self- motivated, and am a stickler for the rules and proceedires. I am most proud of my ability to connect with and advocate for residents/clients.

I am a great caregiver because I have a passion for connecting with and helping those that need it most. I want to make lasting connections with my patients while giving them the best care that I can provide. I am young but I have a strong willingness to learn and am skilled in general housekeeping and health care. I have held multiple job positions at Devil's Den State Park since I was 16 years old and have learned many important duties including people skills, cooking, cleaning, and much more. I want to be a caregiver to expand my work experience while partaking in rewarding experiences. I am very compassionate, patient, and dedicated to any job that I take on.

Hi my name is Stacy, I'm 53 yrs. Old. I became a caregiver after the loss of my grandmother. Seeing what my mother went through trying to care for her with very little help with my family other than my sister who lived in the same town and state and was the only one who could personally help my grandmother and mother. After seeing what my mom and sister went through I decided that working as a preschool teacher just wasn't enough for me anymore. So I went to work for a local company here in Fort Smith, AR. And my first night on the job I was sent to a client's home and wasn't informed by anyone that the client's family had all been called to his home to say thier goodbyes he passed away 30 minutes after I got there. It broke my heart to watch his family going through this but it made me feel good that I was able to be there to just care for his basic care so his family could just spend their time with no worries. After that I lost my mother and went through the same thing and was great full that we had a hospice nurse who not only came to care for mother but she took time out of her day to make sure that my sister and myself were doing okay as well. This is when I knew that being a caregiver was my true calling. I want to be able to be the who can help relieve a family some of their worries so they can have as much time with their loved ones and not have to worry about their basic needs knowing that I was there to take on that roll for them . This is my way of paying it forward.
