I've spent the last 15 + years caring for my teenagers, their friends and their schools. if there was a place to help out I was usually there, and often stayed for years. my work experience is mostly in office administration, but this is not what I want to return to. I studied to be a drug and alcohol counselor, but would like to be able to help others as well, so I am looking into caregiver work. I would like to do something meaningful, and that I enjoy. I am a quick learner, and always up for a challenge. I have a ton of patience that I have developed over the years. I love learning new things, and I love helping people. I'm a very kind personality and down to earth, have soft voices and loving person, I'started taking care my parent for 10 yrs around 2000 until they both passed in2010 then i decided to reach out to other elderly and families who need help with their parents and loved one.

I am a mother of 3. Caring for others has ALWAYS been in my soul. I cared for my grandparents as a child just trying to help and be around them. I have been a care giver since I was 15 I love working with the elderly or even the young who just need some help. I am reliable, compassionate and understanding. I enjoy being with someone and knowing I am making it easier for them in what can be the last years of their life. I love the field of caregiving very much, Taking care of individuals who can no longer care for themselves is something that is very important to me. I treat my clients like family.I started work in small facility (care home) then I move to a big facility as a caregiver at Brookdale chanate. I become med-tech after they gave me an award for best caregiver and employee of the month. Then after Brookdale I move into agency for one on one client I'm so very patient and I love taking care of people especially seniors. And I'am fresh graduate 2022 from Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts of a nursing degree.

After, discovering I really enjoyed the kind of work that I do I went back to school and pursued my CNA/HHA and Acute Care license. I have five years of experience as a PCA, My first encounter was taking care of a stroke client. I'm independent, empathetic, trustworthy, reliable and really committed with the job I've been called to do. I'm currently a Geriatric Aide and working for the Center for Elder's Independence as well.
