I have been a CNA for 6 years with experience in all different areas. I am compassionate, loveavle, and caring. I always treat my patients/clients as top priority. I became a caregiver because I've always wanted to help others. Especially when my grandma got diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease it made me want to work with patients with that disease even more. I enjoy seeing my patients/clients feel like they have accomplished a goal or a step towards their goals. I also like making them feel like someone cares for them and has their best interest at heart. I am proud to have the amount of years of experie ce that I have, and I am proud to know that most of my patients from previous companies still compliment my work.

I'm a small town country girl, who has always had an interest in health care. While in high school, I volunteered at hospitals and nursing homes. After high school I continued on to Bennett College and studied Biology for about a year. Shortly After returning home I received a job with a home health care facility. Being a nurse has always been the career for me. I'm currently employed part time with ResCare and attending the CNA program, upon completion I intend on going back to school to become a RN (registered nurse).

What makes me a good care giver is that I'm a sweet,dependable,and caring person. I became a care giver because I love helping and putting a smile on people's face.A personal achievement I'm proud of is that I was working on a job for a month,and the family was proud of the way I took such good care of there mom.they informed my boss.I was put on the shiny star wall in the office so that everyone could see I was a great worker.I also received a gift.

I first began in the healthcare field 4 years ago with my handicap grandmother who was diagnosed with breast cancer & dementia with a history of diabetes & several strokes. I love being a blessing for those who are less fortunate & need assistance in order to complete normal everyday tasks, but I feel like they are an even bigger blessing to me, knowing that I'm making a difference in their lives as a companion, friend, & caretaker. Im a good listener , observant and caring . i became a caregiver because thats always something I've always wanted to experience and has becane so great at it . i tooken care of my grandma for 2yrs while working for FCI . it wasnt easy but enjoyed every moment of it. I love my patients as if they was family of my own . i love being a caregiver . you get to show someone other than your kids love . i love working with the elderly this PCA job is my home and i love it ! I'm retired and bring with me many years of experience of taking care of the elderly. In my 20-30's I was a CNA and worked home health care, before retiring in insurance. I enjoy sitting and interacting with the elder and have been blessed with a warm hearted spirit. I spend the majority of my week with my Aunt and ensuring she is taken care of. Such as taking her grocery shopping and spending time visiting with her. I can be a great companion for many.
