I have been a CNA for 6 years with experience in all different areas. I am compassionate, loveavle, and caring. I always treat my patients/clients as top priority. I became a caregiver because I've always wanted to help others. Especially when my grandma got diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease it made me want to work with patients with that disease even more. I enjoy seeing my patients/clients feel like they have accomplished a goal or a step towards their goals. I also like making them feel like someone cares for them and has their best interest at heart. I am proud to have the amount of years of experie ce that I have, and I am proud to know that most of my patients from previous companies still compliment my work.

I'm a small town country girl, who has always had an interest in health care. While in high school, I volunteered at hospitals and nursing homes. After high school I continued on to Bennett College and studied Biology for about a year. Shortly After returning home I received a job with a home health care facility. Being a nurse has always been the career for me. I'm currently employed part time with ResCare and attending the CNA program, upon completion I intend on going back to school to become a RN (registered nurse).

What makes me a good care giver is that I'm a sweet,dependable,and caring person. I became a care giver because I love helping and putting a smile on people's face.A personal achievement I'm proud of is that I was working on a job for a month,and the family was proud of the way I took such good care of there mom.they informed my boss.I was put on the shiny star wall in the office so that everyone could see I was a great worker.I also received a gift.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I understand what a family us going through being that I helped care for my grandparents. I have been certified since 1997 but my experience from caring for my family members has been since my teenage years. And knowing that others depend on me to care for their love ones is what I love to do. Getting to know and understand ones family is getting to know the individual who is needing care. Treating others as you would want others to treat your family members is the key.. My personal achievements that I am very proud of is knowing that when I leave that person I am caring for, I know that I have done the best and provided the best care for them and that they are happy and I can return to them and they remember the way I talked to them, treated them and showed them the passionate care that I have towards them by treating them as if they were my family with dignity and respect. I have had many jobs over the years and I have excellent references that will be available upon request.

I am 36 years old, I love meeting new people and can talk to anyone. I kept my grandmother after she got sick and I felt a sense of pride being able to be there for her and help her. It's something I just really enjoy.

I am a patient care assistant with BLS Provider & Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED certification. I first began in the healthcare field 4 years ago with my handicap grandmother who was diagnosed with breast cancer & dementia with a history of diabetes & several strokes. I love being a blessing for those who are less fortunate & need assistance in order to complete normal everyday tasks, but I feel like they are an even bigger blessing to me, knowing that I'm making a difference in their lives as a companion, friend, & caretaker. After the interview process, I no longer consider my clients as patients... They become my family.
