Hello! My name is Andrea, you may also call me Andy (for short) I've been a CNA since 2008. What's helped me enjoy my career more than anything is my residents & families. I consider everyone I have got the pleasure of taking care of like extra grandparents and I couldn't thank their families enough for sharing them with me. I've been trained & also have worked with Alzheimer's, & dementia. My grandmother whom I took care of for a couple years also had this disease. I've been trained on hoyer lifts many times. Also I've been educated on puree foods, thicken liquids & mechanical soft. I have a family of 2 of which I absolutely adore. My 13 yr old son & 1 yr old little girl. They keep me busy when I'm not working our summers consist of baseball games, swimming & learning something new everyday.

I'm a caring person that will help others people that in need with respect and treat them well. My attraction as a caregiver is like I just enjoy helping others. I enjoy great conversation with them and happy when I saw them happy. I'm proud when my clients request and told my agency how I' ve being doing my job well with respect. I also proud when I went to work with clients and done all of my duties before I left the clients place and don't leave nothing behind for other caregiver to do.

First grandaughter on both sides of my family. Took care of both my grandma's at the end of their Inability to take care of themselves. I have compassion for the elderly and Want to make a difference in their lives I Treat people how I want to be treated if I wasn't able or needed assistance.

I have passion for what I love to do, which is to work with individuals who want to remain in their home after surgery, rehab, hospital stays, etc. I am a hard worker who is easy to get along with. I'm friendly. I enjoy learning new ideas/skills. I have over 10 years experience in this field.

I am a very laid back person, I enjoy working with elderly people who isn't able to help themselves. I am very humbled person and what attracted me to being a caregiver I believe God put it in me when I was a little girl I've always been helpful and giving person. The most about me being a caregiver is I represent Jesus Christ he is our caregiver and I understand we all have conditions in our lives and I have had a honored to doing this for over 7 plus years Helping Hands Senior Care. All of my previous clients have said to me that I am a blessing and that their proud to have me as their caregiver. Well I stayed with the company for 7plus years and I had one of my clients died on me we became very close and I have worked some ungrateful clients who were bossy mean out of the 5 clients I had 1 was I could not deal with anymore . I had 2 male's and 3 females

I was a caregiver for my quadriplegic son until his passing at age 15. He taught me patience, being kind and self-care. I believe in treating people with kindness and go the extra mile for someone. I have worked with elder people for 8 years now. I enjoy using music therapy and crafts to relaxation my client. I have attended classes on Dementia and Alzheimer's. Taking care of people isn't just a job but a passion.

I have worked as a hair stylist in long-term care for over 10 years. I truly love caring and helping the elderly. I have learned how to transfer residence from wheelchair to chair. I enjoy helping them with daily needs. I love talking and listening to the residents that I have not only worked with but became friends with. I also have great relationships with the family and have kept great communication with them.
