I was first drawn to being a caregiver when my grandmother was ill and I had to step up and care for her. Being a caregiver isn't easy and back then I didn't get a break. Now that I've become a professional caregiver I take pride in allowing families to have a break from being in that role as well as giving my client someone new to talk to and trust.
