I started my career of caregiving In 1983 where I provided in home care for an elderly lady for 18 months. In 1984 I worked for Minnesota DHS with developmentally disabled persons. In 1989 I began working for the Minnesota DOC until I retired in 2020. I love to help people achieve their goals and I really enjoy seeing people happy. I am currently teaching myself some wood working, furniture refinishing and some art.

I love to help the people that really need help at all time and I'm a brilliant person that always like to help and communicate with people also I like people that treat themselves with respect and kindness.

I have a disability son and I take care of him and the skills I've learned thus far I want to use that to help other people. I enjoy helping people and conversating with them. My personal achieve is having to take the role of being the mom and dad for my 8 kids I've raised as a single mother.

Hello, my name is Jerry. I've been working as a certified HCA (caregiver) for 4 years. I am certified in the state of California. I recently relocated to Owatonna. Most of my experience is with dementia and hospice care. But I've worked in many different situations, Group homes, and floor coverage in memory care assisted living facilities. I've also worked with handicapped people and people with severe mental and physical developmental disabilities. ( I am also a certified DSP in CA), I have been thoroughly background-checked by each of the two agencies that I received most of my clients from. I have a completely clean record, and a clean driving record too. I love this job very much. I am reliable and honest, and I always have a very calm and friendly demeanor, which is why I work very well will elderly people. That's my favorite. But I am perfectly happy taking care of younger people too.

I have a long line of care takers in my family so it's always been my passion to help people live their lives to the fullest. It brings me joy to watch the worry fall off their shoulders the minute I walk through the door. Every one of my clients are treated as if they were my own family. I am most proud of my ability to have patients. I have been pushed to my limit several times but I can always remain calm and talk my way through those crisis. Hello, this is Cameron I am a current college student pursuing a major in statistics/data science. I have always taken an interest in trying to educate and learn more about subjects like science (particularly ecology and biostats) and history (I take a particular interest in learning about our history as a nation). I am attracted to being a caregiver because I have been helping my grandma as a job, and getting paid for it. This has incentivized me to help out other elderly people too. I enjoy being a caretaker because it gives me more time to spend with my grandma and become more responsible.
