My name is Mary which you already know I'm a people person caring understanding and most of all patience. The reason for me being a caregiver is I always wanna help someone in some form or fashion n my grandma lived to be a 106 at home and there is nothing more precious than seeing her at home doing the things she liked most and being loved and treated properly knowing that I can be the one to put a smile on a elderly person face is a blessing to me every day Being able to say that I have met a lot of people from all walks of life and them nor I ever regretting that we met is what I'm actually proud of I've never been one to judge others just always wanting to help them

I started out caring for the disabled and elderly in 2009 as a personal caregiver with Canton Manor in Canton, MS. I also worked with Ability Works and MS Rehabilitation as a personal care assistant. I later received my CNA license in 2012 with MS State Hospital. I worked as an CNA on their grounds for 6 months before I returned to Ability Works. I took a couple of years off as I started to bear children and was introduced to more intensive care of an individual as a mother. In November 2016 I returned to the field of caregiving when I decided to be my grandmothers full time care giver until her demise. I am educated in caring for diabetic patients, wound care, bathing, feeding, dressing, and administering medications. Although I allowed my license to elapse some skills never go away. I am a mother of three so I am very passionate about nursing and caring for people.

I have work as Caregiver for 3yrs bathing grooming and transportation. I'm honest hard working Caregiver love helping people who can't help themselves. I have 10yrs experience working with Mentally I'll assist with daily program and mobility skills .

My personality traits are kind and warm hearted. I wanted to become a caregiver because I have a kind heart and love helping others. The best part about being a caregiver is seeing my patients smile even when they are not in the best mood.

Compassionate, empathy, honest, reliable , patience, respect, & selfishness. My grandma was a nurse & later in life she had a stroke & heart attack. I would go & get her from her house & take care of her. Also my mother was a RN. I love working with the as if was my own family treat them as if it was you want to be treated. Knowing that the patients looks up at you & thanks you for everything that you have done for them & that makes me happy to know that I have done my job.

Compassion is what I do best. I got into home health care because my grandfather got to the point he was bed-ridden before his passing. I witnessed his caregivers come in and not help my grandmother do any of the duties they were assigned. I completed my certification soon after and started helping clients remain in their homes. I enjoy working on a personal level with the elderly. They have so much wisdom to spread, all they need is someone who will listen. The biggest thing that I have to be proud of is I will be obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration in December of 2017.

I care a lot about the people I work for, the first job as a caregiver I got was definitely when I decided that was my call so I decided to become a CNA, I've never regretted it!! It's such a rewarding career, elderly people are beautiful!! I guess they remind me of my mother and how I wish they'd treat her!!

I am energetic with an outgoing personality. I do not meet a stranger and honestly love meeting people. I believe in treating people respect and kindness.

The personal traits that help me be a good caregiver is the passion that I have for people and the job. Along with years of experience. What attracted me was I'd lost my job and didn't know what direction I was going n. So I prayed for God's direction and here I am. His response was to work with elderly and children. In 2012 I got n with a company to do what I'd been doing on my own prior to that. What I enjoy most is being in my calling, being used by God with the gift of help. Helping people. A personal achievement is to hear people tell me I'm a sent angel, they appreciate me, and thanking me for being there for them to assist in any way that I can.
