Making sure all individuals are respected, cared for and treated like human beings. Being able to help others is what attracted me to being a caregiver. Being able to make the people I am working with know that someone cares. I am proud of earning my Basic Nurse Assistant Certification when I lived in Chicago and earning my medication aid license here in Lincoln NE.

I do enjoy helping people and talking with them.

I love a home environment and appreciate getting to know one client very well, to provide the best care possible. I've worked in the health field most of my life, and providing care in someone's home is my first choice of any work. I enjoy building a comfortable and reliable routine, this goes a long way in developing peace of mind for the person receiving care and their families. Very important for my own family was that they would be able to remain home for both recovery and end of life care, and that I was able to provide that care.

I have been in the medical/caregiver area of work for 20+ years. I enjoy helping others in any way I can. A personal achievement I am proud of is completing my Masters degree and still remembering where it all started, caring for others.

I am very compassionate and respectful in the work that I do, and I love taking care of people and helping them to achieve goals in their daily routines. I value making life meaningful and I love helping people to have a more positive outlook on life. I love my current employer and enjoy working, I am very good at almost anything and always willing to help when I can. I am a very fun, loving, hard working individual that is very enthusiastic about my job!

I am currently working as an RN part time. I am looking to pick up some extra hours of work. I feel like I am a very patient individual. I am a mother of 3 children so my evenings can be filled running them around to extra activities. I am very organized and caring person.

Started caring for my elderly neighbor while in high school it was then I realized my passion was helping others, my gift from God giving to others. I was eager to begin a career in the field of Care giving health care and with a great desire to continue to grow I enrolled in the CNA Class offered at The Beatitudes Campus of Care in Arizona under the direction of Karen Mitchell RN-BSN I completed my course and received my certification in July of 1994. Today I continue to strive for excellence. My Care Giving/Companion Skills are coupled with 20+ years of experience with the elderly as well as individuals with disabilities. My many years of caring/giving to others has heightened my strengths to aid in the Quality of life, Dignity, Respect and over all well being of each individual client. With my ability to learn quickly and to multitask along with the utmost professionalism, to perform and adapt in all types of environments with the utmost ability and confidence and most importantly compassion and patience. I'm dependable and arrive promptly on my scheduled days. Lastly when you love what you do as I do you are exactly where you are meant to be. God Bless you

I am the owner of ALJ Loving Care, I provide respite services in my home for ages 0-99+. I can also provide respite care in the event of an emergency. I am listed on the Nebraska Resource and Referral System as an approved respite provider. We have a limited number of caregivers that can provide respite in your personal home. This idea to provide respite for others came to me after I was a caregiver for my mother and son for many years. It can be very difficult to take time for yourself when others depend on you. Hourly, daily, and weekly rates given upon request.
