I have about 7 years experience in the healthcare industry. This includes 3 years working in a long term care facility as a cook and also as a CNA. I have taken care of 6 older men at the end of their lives and have my prerequisites for Masters in Occupational Therapy (MOT). This includes about 70 hours of working with O.T.s in geriatric, pediatric and a hospital settings. In addition to these experiences I have also taught holistic health classes to seniors that include the topics of nutrition, physical, mental and spiritual health. In these classes we practice Yoga and Tai Chi done in and around a chair as part of our body work. Since I am an older person myself and have had a number of health concerns and challenges through the years, I enjoy being able to share what has and hasn't worked for me in regards to my own health and working with the concerns of aging. I have always had "older" friends. Even when I was young I seemed to develop deeper relationships and friendships with aunts, uncles, neighbors and even landlords and employers. Trying to help others to find joy through a deeper connection to themselves, their situation and their lives usually bringsvit's own sense of rewards for me. On a personal note, I enjoy travel, seeing new place and experiences new cultures. I believe by experiencing diversity in its many forms we can begin to see how we are all connected and the oneness we all share. This in turn can help all of us find a sense of our own self and bring meaning to our lives. Often the most important thing we can do for each other is to simply listen and be with each other.

I am a 35 year old Male who Loves being in the Service Industry in multiple ways and business approaches to multiple industries including, Caretaker, Personal Trainer/Dietitian, and an IT Software Expert/Web-Design. My business' are part time as I have made the transition into Caretaking and Home Care. Until COVID surfaced again I was full time in my business' but I feel drawn to help elderly and disabled adults. I have an 8 year old daughter and I Love being a Dad! I enjoy most simple things in life and am very grateful for the Life and people I have in my life currently and I look forward to the Future and the possibilities! I am a Dreamer! I Love Goals, ambition, and conquering new feats. I Love a challenge and succeed in all aspects where I apply myself. I am excited to see where this goes!

My name is Maria Dozier, am a 43 year old Hispanic educated woman. I've been married 18yrs and have been with my husband for almost 26 yrs. We have 3 beautiful children ages 25, 17 and 12. I live my life for my children and making sure that they are taken care of and brought up correctly. We moved to Santa Fe, NM almost 11 yrs ago. Til now I hadn't looked for work because I needed to be at home with my children. But now that their getting older I'd like to have a job. I have perfect transportation and am very reliable. I speak Spanish and English and am very resourceful and respectful when it comes to patient confidentiality.

I make sure my patient is being taken care of I remind them or help them with there medication, keep them company, housekeeping if needed,exercise,take to doctors, grocery store or shopping ect,I treat my patient/client as if he or she is my family meaing I have respect towards them help them and take care of them as I would to my own family,I love to cook & bake im a person that is loving and caring,respectful, responsible,ect.i like to do caregiving to those who need it cause im the type of person that cares for others and will do my best to make u know you are being taking care of and make you feel like u are someone special,caregiving to me is like giving back to those who work and done so much for this world and its great to help back and give your time,respect, company,friendship,to those in need.

Hello, my name is Angelique Smith and I am an experienced caregiver. I have over 5 years experience caring for elderly and also adults with mental disabilities. I became a caregiver, because I love to help others live life to their fullest extent. I love being able to help being there when they need help in their daily living activities and just sitting with them and talking about life and about their younger days. I love to hear their stories and just be their companion. I have taking a certified nursing assistant course but have not yet taken the test to get certified. I can provide proof of the course being passed, if needed. I have also taken a medical terminology course, pharmacology course, and phlebotomy. I am currently going for an associates in medical assisting. A little bit about my personal life: I am 28 years old. I have a 5 year old son who is my world. I am engaged to the father of my son and have been together for over 6 years. I am an energetic, organized, and loving and caring person. What makes me a great care giver? I'm someone who loves to help people, i go beyond helping others. where I come from we do not leave each others we all take care of each others, not matter what.
