I have over 10 years experience with caregiving, dementia. After my grandparents passed away I knew I wanted to help others that need assistance caring for their self's. I enjoy assisting with anything anyone may ask as long as I make them happy I am even happier. I am CPR certified.

I'm 79 years old but in good health enjoy keeping busy mother of 6 lots of grandchildren I feel I'm a loving person I am good to people I like to fish enjoy my family

What makes me a great caregiver is I am loving, passionate and have compassion for people and their needs. I became a caregiver because I was given the opportunity to take care of my grandmother. She was my world and when she was diagnosed with liver cancer, I found my perfect world falling apart. I took care of my grandmother up until the end, and I found it very rewarding. Loving her in such a way has given me a special love for people. I love people, I love being of service to others, and do whatever I can to assist. What I like about being a caregiver is being able to give back and be of service to those who need assistance. I love being a caregiver because I meet all kinds of people from all walks of life. I am able to be in their presence and hear the wisdom that is shared. I am proud of finally achieving my bachelor degree after raising two children as a single parent. I did not allow obstacles to hold me hostage from my goals and dreams.

I love cooking and love helping the elderly in need.. I have been in health care since I was 21 . My biggest achievement would be I have been working at the nursing home now for 30 years. I am prn now since I have become full time third shift caregiver.. I do firsts and seconds When they need me to. Love spending time with my family!!

What makes me a great caregiver is that, I'm very understanding and give my all in providing excellent services, I became a caregiver because I knew I wanted to help others in need it's very rewarding knowing you can make a difference by just being yourself,helping and healing all at the same time.

I have over 15 years experiance in health care. I started out as an STNA decided to further my education in 2015 and became a LPN. I have 3 classes left for my RN. I really enjoy taking care of people, it is my passion.

I worked for seventeen years as a home health care med certified caregiver , I have also worked on a critical care unit. Illiostomes, colostomies, aids patients , blood pressures ,diabetics also caring for people with physical and mental disabilities to keep them in there home . I cared for my mother while she was in my home to ensure her care was properly given until lung cancer finally ended her life . I worked 17 years as a care giver for mentally ill and mentally challenged individuals. I was med certified and still have my cpr card.

I love being a caregiver. It has brought a new definition to my life giving me a purpose I felt I was missing. I became an EMT this past year to further my medical education and learn more about caring for others. I am very loving and compassionate with my clients/patients and feel I treat them as a friend or loved one more than just a patient. Helping those who need it is very rewarding for me.

I am an energetic and positive caregiver! My first patient was my grandmother who was a patient of cancer for 20 years. Since then, I wanted to be able to help loved ones be comfortable in their own home where they can enjoy alot of the same things they always have. I have a passion to care for those in need. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the lessons learned by your patients and hearing the stories that make up their past!
