At a young age I would take care of my grandparents and be there for my parents. I see myself as a caring person, very patient, I enjoy helping out, taking the time to listen and making peoples day. I'm a very positive person. I believe my personal achievement is when I see the client happy and being there.

I've been a CNA for about 4 years and I've dealt with many different personalities and I feel I can adapt very well to many situatuons. I feel im easy to get along with, I'm caring and I pay attention to the patients needs. I was a volunteer firefighter for about 3 years and I really enjoyed it but I wanted to do more, and that's when I found CNA school and I've loved it ever since. I enjoy being a CNA because of all the patients and family members I get to form a bond/friendship with. I love seeing my patients and being able to interact with them. Working in hospice care I loved hearing from different team members about how much the patients enjoyed me and when the patients would pass away I felt very fortunate that the family would invite me to the service and allow me to be apart of that. I'm still in contact with some of my patients family because we formed such a great bond/love for one another.

As a caregiver I take my job very serious. I feel blessed to be able to help keep the elder healthy and safe. I enjoy hearing old stories, and listening and learning. As we grow up most all our parents friends and family looked after us, so I feel its our job to step up and help the elder when times get hard for them. I have met some amazing people and their families doing my job and I couldn't be more blessed.

Hello, my name is Rachelle; I have been a CNA for 17 years. I have worked with all kinds of disabilities, and ages, with a wide range of care, from trachea, and g-tube, and Nj tube patients. I also worked with memory care patients, and patients with mental health problems. I have worked with medical fragile children, and kids, and adults with Autism, and other developmental issues. Most of my work history have been with the elderly, and hospice. I am a Christian, and believe God gives us all gifts, to display is imagine in us, and being a CNA is how; I show other's his love by taken great care of him, this is not a way of getting a job, it is the truth.

I have always had a passion for helping others and with about 10 years of experience in the caregiving and med tech field, I've gained priceless memories and perspectives that other fields wouldn't allow me to experience. I take pride in having opportunities to get to know some amazing individuals and learning every day what it means to be selfless.

I have currently changed posisiton within the hospital and I am now working in the case management department. I am looking for a part time position working weekends. I have been in the medical field for over twenty years working in various areas, and have experience in both the hospital and home setting. I have a great deal of patience and find that I like working with the elderly and geriatric patients.
