I am a 44 year old married mother of 1 College student and a Veteran. I have been doing Home Health Care on and off for the past 20 plus years. I nursed my own grandmother through a partial mastectomy and knee surgery. I assisted in hospice care for my husband's mother. I understand how hard it is to keep a job and to care for family members. I am not a fan of nursing homes I feel it is better for one to be at home with family and familiar surroundings. My story : I was raised for a short period of time by My great nana and uncle . When they became sick, they were moved into hospice care. I recall doing everything I could to brighten their spirits and provide them happiness and peace. But at those moments, I discovered my calling and purpose. Working with the elderly senior generation now has the same implications. Working with each family, I offer the same comfort, love, and peace. I find myself caring for this generation as if they were my own family. My goal with each family is to constantly provide light to each individuals I serve. I have a job that takes patience and a compassionate heart.
