I started volunteering at a local rehabilitation senior center a few years ago and since then I realized I love helping our elders and individuals that need assistance! Growing up as an Asian Pacific Islander, our parents have always instilled in us to respect and care for our elders even if there not family and this has stuck with me and not only is it in our nature it is our duty as younger generation to care for our elders , so this is very important to me and also the reason I love and enjoy working as a care giver! After the senior center, I started working for an elderly couple with Alzheimer's and dementia, this was new to me but I have learned so much from them and will be able to help and understand others living with Alzheimer's and/ or dementia...

I am dedicated to the care of people with dependencies or disabilities. Helping them in personal hygiene, administration of medications (oral, anal, gastric catheter) transfers, transfers, rotation, etc. I have a history of more than 15 years with which I have managed to acquire many professional skills: Empathy, punctuality, responsibility, flexibility and adaptation.
