My name is Tanner Russon, I have grown up in Utah and absolutely love the people and environment here. I'm an optimistic caregiver with an emergency medical technician and basic life support/CPR certification. I love meeting new people and doing all that I can to make their life enjoyable and more comfortable. My favorite part of being a care giver is know my daily efforts are making a difference in at least one individuals life. I'm currently studying nursing to purse my deep love and passion of overall health and wellness.

I started volunteering at a local rehabilitation senior center a few years ago and since then I realized I love helping our elders and individuals that need assistance! Growing up as an Asian Pacific Islander, our parents have always instilled in us to respect and care for our elders even if there not family and this has stuck with me and not only is it in our nature it is our duty as younger generation to care for our elders , so this is very important to me and also the reason I love and enjoy working as a care giver! After the senior center, I started working for an elderly couple with Alzheimer's and dementia, this was new to me but I have learned so much from them and will be able to help and understand others living with Alzheimer's and/ or dementia...

I am moving to California in the San Diego area in Septmeber 2018 and am looking to get a job as a caregiver. What makes me a great caregiver is I love to take care of people I love to be able to help people when they are in need. I want to be able to make a difference in someone's life when they are really needing help and be able to be the light that they need to help them feel better. I figured out that I loved being a caregiver when I worked in hospice and assisted living it made me feel the incredible experience of making a connection with my residents and being able to give them a loving hand or someone to talk to when they needed it. This is the feild i want work in for te rest of my life i love being that helping hand that people need.

I love being a medical assistant and I would love to provide care and companionship to someone! I am great at my job and I love to bond with my patients.

I remember when my Mother got in a car accident. She went from an active, healthy person, to someone unable to walk or get out of bed unassisted. I was volunteering at the local assisted living place, at the time. When I used the skills I had learned, to support her back while assisting her out of bed, her gratitude was visceral. It was hard enough, for her, to be so dependent. She needed people around her that knew how to help, without making her feel worse. I spent that year doing her physical therapy with her and assisting her how I could. Later, when my Grandma began to decline so quickly, I used those same skills to be her substitute caregiver. I treasure those memories, though it was hard work. She took care of me, when I needed her as a child. And I took care of her, when she needed me, as an adult. I loved her so very much. I raised 6 kids over the last 20 years. Children are messy and wonderful people. I love being a mother! I'm a pro at organizing the day, cleaning up, grooming, bathing, shopping, meal planning and preparing, entertaining, reading to, and all with patience and love. My youngest is in school now, so I'm looking for part time work during school hours. I have since been a part time caregiver for wonderful people who needed help with cooking, cleaning, self care, bill paying, shopping and errand running. I'm happy to help those who spent their lives helping others or simply could use an extra hand. Call or text me for references. I have a great deal of experience and even more love to share.
