Hello I have been a caregiver on and off since 2010 and have been doing it consistently the last 4-5 years. I absolutely love being able to help anyone. It's my passion and I absolutely love doing what I do. I have children and I love being there for them and helping them along the way and I feel that helps me do my job better and with love. We moved from California in 2021 and we love it here in NWA. I can't wait to learn more about NWA and the families I'll be able to help.

I am a people person and easily to get along with I love hanging out with my elderly clients and learning about life from them . My great grandmother was my inspiration to become a caregiver starting with her and other elderly family members and friends . I enjoy the fact that I can provide care and support to them and just be there to assist them with there daily needs . I am proud of knowing that GOd blessed me with a reason

I'm 27 I have a special needs brother

My experience is both personal and professional. I have a Masters in Healthcare Administration, I was a Quality Director for a rural clinic, a first responder at a local Volunteer Fire Department, and I cared for my Mother and Brother with neurological disorders for more than six years. For me creating a safe and engaging environment was crucial to improve their respective living environments. Additionally, knowing the healthcare system, and being an advocate for their healthcare needs was critical to minimize confusion and improve their overall care. As a versed mechanic and handyman, I made their living environments safe with hold bars and special care devices, minimizing fall hazards. Additionally, traveling out of the house is essential in maintaining a level of freedom from confinement, and we would go out regularly to do errands, go to DR. appointments and do external activities. Cooking was a favorite for both, as I would cook their favorites usually in large quantities, so they had packaged meals that they could pop in the microwave. As I approach my early 60s, I have been very fortunate and desire to continue helping and caring for others. Helping to organize and manage small elements can make the difference in just getting along or feeling like a valued member of society.

I have been doing in home senior care for 2+ years. With a local company. I care for my Mother on all post-op situations. I also give her support care weekly. I have just completed the AR CNA course testing out at: 100%+5 written, and 99% clinical. I will test with the state soon. I am out going.l, Self- motivated, and am a stickler for the rules and proceedires. I am most proud of my ability to connect with and advocate for residents/clients.

I always knew that I wanted to be someone that helped people when I grew up! I never did change my mind. This is one of the most rewarding jobs a person could ever have. I am Amanda Broughton (Mandy) I'm 33 & currently live in Fayetteville Arkansas. I have been in home health for over 10 years and have also worked inside facilities. I enjoy most to work in home with clients because as long as they have assistance they can stay and live in home instead of having to move to a facility!
