I have been doing in home senior care for 2+ years. With a local company. I care for my Mother on all post-op situations. I also give her support care weekly. I have just completed the AR CNA course testing out at: 100%+5 written, and 99% clinical. I will test with the state soon. I am out going.l, Self- motivated, and am a stickler for the rules and proceedires. I am most proud of my ability to connect with and advocate for residents/clients.

I have been passionate about healthcare since I started as a Patient Care Assistant in 11th grade, way back in 1997. I worked in a busy post-surgical ward in a hospital setting for 17 years and have since found home healthcare incredibly rewarding. I have ample experience in assisting with post-orthopedic surgical patients, ambulation, dressing, bathing, toileting, catheter care, ostomy care, checking blood glucose levels, and vital signs. I spent over a year assisting a hemiplegic stroke patient I thoroughly enjoy helping others live how they wish to live. My goal is to help anyone in need get back to the best quality of life possible.

I been a CNA for 5 years I have worked in a bunch skilled and none skilled nursing homes. Well I love to help people and my grandma was in and out of nursing homes. When I was 16 years old, my grandfather who was bedridden after many strokes, and also diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia moved into our home, and me and my mother took care of him until his last days. When he passed I realized I wanted to go into healthcare to make a difference in other people's lives the way he did for me.

Life has a funny way of going down a different path than we thought it would. I hope that has NOT happened to you. However, that is what life is all about. For me, I spent my youth studying and working very diligently and actually succeeding to master my goals and dreams. There isn't enough room to tell you all the things I accomplished. I will bullet point some of them. However; when it was time for me to start a family I knew what I needed to do was to put my career aside and give my all to my children.
