Some traits that I have that are necessary in the health care industry are patience, great communication, attentiveness, loyal, humorous, caring & respectful. One thing that attracted to being a caregiver is the way my clients feel after I've done my shift, me being able to help someone is enough for me to have a great day! I've managed a 6 man group home for the last 4 years with only minuscule issues. Regardless of the fact that I have children at home I'm quite flexible with scheduling although I would love to work mornings while my children are at school, it's not a must and I have no problem doing overtime.
