Hello! My name is April and I would love to be your caregiver. We have been a military family for 30 years and it is time to hang it up! I first became a caregiver when I was actually 18 years old. I became a Texas EMT. I was very rewarding but we got stationed elsewhere. Then when we made it back to Fort Hood I decided to go to CNA school. Again it was very rewarding but the military moved us. Two years after we moved my grandmother became sick. Instead of going to a care facility where there is no telling how she would be treated she ended up staying at home so that her family could take care of her. Even when she would have to be hospitalized for a short period of time she would tell the nurses that I was her care giver and that she wanted me to do the tasks instead of them. I want to be your caregiver because our mature family members need great care. Not just left alone in a bed to sit.
