I've volunterred at a nursing because I enjoy working with elderly people. I'm friendly, a good listener, hardworking and patient.

I'm friendly, nice and like to help people. I'm a very trustworthy and a passionate person. I also wanted a rewarding job, and caregiving is just that. I enjoy talking to and making people laugh. I was very friendly with all our residents at my previous job. I am proud to have four healthy grandchildren that I adore.

I have a friendly personality and get along with everyone. While taking care of a grandparent in their time of need made me realize how much I enjoyed caring for them, enjoyed hearing stories about their life. I love that I can help those in need. A personal achievement I am proud of would have to be my boys. I am a mother of 2 boys who after they graduated both went into the Air Force.

I chose this path in the medical field from a young age when I realized how much I valued the individuality and the wisdom of my elders, and how much joy it brings me to be able to be a shining light in their darkest days. I plan on caring compassionately for my patients and rendering help to those in need. The interpersonal relationships with the patients/family are the reason I am here. In 2019, I was my father's primary caregiver, and I experienced some unprofessional nursing staff that made me want to be in the medical field even more. I have heard horror stories of unkind, unprofessional, non-caring nurses that are involved with our patients, and it utterly breaks my heart. I'm a firm believer that you lived a valuable life if you positively affected at least 1 person in your lifetime and I want to be rich in experience when my time comes. I view everyone as potential family and will always advocate for the patient with their best interest in mind. There are countless good people in this world that are deserving of so much. I crave to be a part of that experience. It's my calling here on earth and my purpose being a Christian woman. I view myself as being caring, empathetic, compassionate, understanding, medically knowledgeable, and a reliable person. I believe time with nature, is its own medicine and that love can heal. I encourage the patient to be active in their care and maintain a positive outlook. I am detail-oriented, focused, dedicated, and eager to get to know you and the family! I am a full-time student, going back to finish my bachelor's degree in nursing. I have experience with altered mental status patients and do well in deescalating situations involving conflict. I am proud of my many achievements during my studies. I would love to tell you more about myself, my education, and my experience. I am so happy to be a part of this field and your personal team. My personality traits I would have to say that I enjoy making people laugh. I'm just a big goof ball. I'm energetic, I have a gentle touch and a warm heart. I got attracted to being a caregiver was because the elders have great stories, it sometimes takes me back in time like I was in their era. I enjoy being a caregiver because I want to help others, I want to learn and grow from them, the elders are so wise. The personal achievement that I'm proud of was the day I passed my CNA State Exam. Nearly almost 5 years and I've loved every minute of it, and I've learned so much

I became a caregiver because I have a big heart when it come to People. And what I like most about being a caregiver is: Making a difference in someone life. The smile on their faces Is so over whelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping others so I know I am doing the right thing. What I'm most proud of achieving is : What I have learned over the last 15 years as a caregiver has been lots and lots of hands on training, Starting out as my parents caregiver and other family members, as a young adult. I have learned some interesting things and it has just stuck with me, I guess one of the hardest things in health care is working with hospice especially when it is a family member. Lost my sister to Cancer a few years ago. Nothing is easy when it comes to cancer, but my sister was comfortable knowing I was there with her til the end. A little about me: When I was a little girl my mother worked in a nursing home same place for 16yrs, everyday after school I went to my mother work, Oh I thought I was a big shot, she would let me do little things for her patients and they just fell in love with me. And to see all those people with big smiles on their faces just made my day.. But the best part of it was when my mother always told me, your good with people and your here on earth for a good purpose. and I now know exactly what she meant.!! I moved From Texas to here in Phoenix Az, I development Breast cancer 2014 and wasn't able to work due to being so Fatigue from all the Chemo and the last 6-weeks of Radiation, As I got stronger I merge slowly back to working, I am proud of the woman I have become today and all I have achieved in my life time.

Caregiving came to me naturally in my younger years and I believe God has placed natural talents and gifts in all of us. I enjoy working with people and take my work seriously. I count it an honor to serve others and I hold myself accountable for the care I give others even how I communicate and relate to my clients and their families. I really do enjoy being a caregiver because I love to encourage others and to lift their hearts where I can. (I also believe that what goes around comes around and one day I may need someone to care for me and encourage me.) I am very proud of working in a hospital, learning to train the nursing staff on safety and patient handling techniques. I am now a single mom with children grown and living very productive lives. I am not married any longer so I have to restrictions on my time. I do prefer to work night shifts because I did this for many years as a single mom. (child care for 3 was cheaper this way so I have become accustom to working nights.) I do have very strong references upon request.

As a caregiver my number one priority is to put my residents first, I have loved caring for elders since I started my CNA classes in 2019, what I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping them with their everyday life needs, I came into the caregiving position to help me with the career I wanted and I ended up wanting to choose a career to care for elders.
