I use to take up for the disable kids while in school and I use to help the elders with taking their grocery bags in the house , help them walk if they had diffculty walking and etc . I enjoy putting a smile on the patient's face and I enjoy listing to their stories when they were growing up if they are able to talk with me ! I have an Associate Degree in Nursing from Ivy Technical College of IN. I have worked in an Assisted Living facility in IN as well as a nursing facility. I prefer caring for an individual that would love to live in their own home independently. I have experience with Alzheimer's, mobility impairment and strokes. I am very outgoing I love taking care of the elderly I have a passion for what I do. Making sure they are Happy and getting the care they need and deserve. Treating them with love and respect. My 1st caregiver job was my Aunt that was very sick. I took care of her until the end of life. And then my grandparents. And it just went on from there. And I knew it was my calling. Because I loved what I did. What I like most is the wisdom and conversations of there life the things they did when they were young. It's amazing to sit down vh and just listen and give thembloge and attention. I am most proud of the many Elderly people that I have taken care of and known in the 31+ years I have been a caregiver and I wouldn't change it for anything it taught me a lot. I learned so much from every patient. And that has been my greatest reward and Achievement.

My name is Diane! I'm a mother of three and a grandmother of seven. In the year of 1979 I was a caregiver to my terminally ill grandmother. After she passed away in the year of 1980 I then further my education in health field to learn all I can about caring for the elderly. I attended a class in 1981 after she expired and I've been working in a he field since. Also in 2013 I for a caregiver for my Mom when she passed away in May 2013 and a caregiver for my daughter in 2013 when she flatlined and still her caregiver.
