Hi I'm Krista. I'm a single mother of 4 one of which is grown. I'm usually a happy person and easy to get along with but can be blunt. I don't lie, steal, abuse or take advantage of anyone. I do have my CNA license and have been working at the Raleigh Center for over 3yrs now. I truly enjoy working with people of all types it actually makes me happy knowing that I was able to help someone. When it comes to personal achievements that I'm proud of I would have to say it's getting my CNA and Bachelors in Psychology and a minor Bachelor's in Business Administration. I'm just all around trying to make a difference and help people in need.

I am highly organized and able to multitask. I have experience with Alzheimer's/ Dementia as well as a variety of different mental health disorders. I am also proficient with health disorders such as diabetes and hypertension. I have experience with PEG tubes, ostomies, and Foley catheters I have been a member of the volunteer fire department for some time and able to remain calm in stressful situations. I also have experience as an EMT. I love to help people in need and this is what drove me to becoming a caregiver.

My mom recently passed away I spent years carrying for her, and I grew extremely close to her and I really enjoyed the time I got to spend with her. We were fortunate to have the relationship we had. I know that everyone may not be as fortunate. If I'm capable of being a care giver to someone without kids, or giving someone kids a piece of mind that someone who truly cares about there parents well being will be there in there absents. Then I go home with a feeling of fulfilment that I'm capable of helping give someone a piece of mind that's not capable of being there for whatever reason, and that to me is worth more then any amount of money.

I am a very caring and empathetic person. Being a CNA has taught me to be very patient and respectful of those I'm caring for. I make it a personal task of mine to leave them and their environment in a better state then where I started with them. I enjoy having personal connection and conversation with my clients because it makes them more comfortable and trusting in me and shows I'm there to be their biggest supporter in their time of need. I'm fully certified in providing the care they require along with CPR and Basic Life Support of an emergency situation were to arise. It is my passion and goal in life to help care for others. Rescare is a daily living facility for individuals with mental and or physical disabilities, of all ages.
