I am a very attentive, compassionate, observant, adaptive, thorough and empathetic individual. I am a caretaker by nature, I have an extensive backround in caregiving as well as working in the medical profession. I strive to develop close, personal relationships with each person as an individual and offer the best care possible. I have the ability to work with individuals with all personality types. I have the capability to work with those with mild to full disability or impairment. I sincerely enjoy working in this area because I have a genuine desire and ability to take care of others no matter what need may arise. The most enjoyable part of being a caregiver to me, is developing the trust of my clients and their families. I am certifed as a home health aide and well as Cpr. I love to help others. I consider myself to be kind, punctual, reliable, compassionate, dedicated, and trustworthy. I started in the home care field shortly after my Father passed away at a young age of 42 with congestive heart failure. I received a cold phone call from a hospice nurse who rudely spoke to me that my father had died and she didn't know what I wanted to do about it. I wanted to go into home care and be a difference that showed compassion rather than harshness to not only those I care for but the families as well. I enjoy being able to help people be able to stay in their own homes and help with any needs they may have in order to do with respect and compassion.

I am highly organized and able to multitask. I have experience with Alzheimer's/ Dementia as well as a variety of different mental health disorders. I am also proficient with health disorders such as diabetes and hypertension. I have experience with PEG tubes, ostomies, and Foley catheters I have been a member of the volunteer fire department for some time and able to remain calm in stressful situations. I also have experience as an EMT. I love to help people in need and this is what drove me to becoming a caregiver.
