I am an experienced caregiver that is outgoing, trustworthy and honest. Communication is key, especially working in this field. I've always been drawn to caregiving since a child. I would frequently babysit family members, and some had up to 6 kids, so multitasking one of my many skills. I love the feedback and appreciation I receive from clients and their families which motivates me more to continue my work as a caregiver.

What makes me a great care giver is that I am attentive and I respond to situations in a timely manner. The thought of helping people who can't help them self attracted me mostly to becoming a caregiver. I enjoy it mostly because I am able to meet new people and share different experiences with them. The emotional and physical drain it is on the individual and the family when going through illness and/or aging is one I'm very familiar with. I have provided support and care to both parents who had cancer and were in Hospice care at home. In addition, I've assisted friends who've had a family member declining. I have no education or professional experience as a bedside caregiver nor do I feel comfortable or confident in providing medical or physical care. I am however, passionate and fully capable of providing excellent support in the following: emotional support | companionship | light housework | cooking | errands | appointments etc. Although the hands on physical bedside care is necessary and of extreme importance, I feel emotional love and support is also a crucial component, as humans we all need to have love and companionship. If this type of care is your need I would be fully vested in providing this service to your loved one as if he or she were my own family member.
