Hi! My name is Sabrina Carson. I'm 42yrs old. After 15 yrs of staying at home to raise my 3 children, a caregiving opportunity had been presented to me. I took that opportunity 6 yrs ago and I've been a Caregiving ever since. I like to think that I have a natural approach when it comes to caring for someone. There's no better feeling than being able to assist someone (who otherwise struggles on their own) in accomplishing their daily life's tasks. I sincerely enjoy helping someone concur milestones and/or helping them to achieve and even surpass their goals. To see that sense of accomplishment on one's face feeds their confidence and that feeds my soul. I am a friendly, compassionate / understanding and an extremely patient person that prides myself on having a personal approach with my clients/patients. After high school, I attended Maric college of medical careers. (medical assisting course.) After graduating, I worked in family practice as a back medical assistant. I continued my Education by taking an EMT course at Mesa College. From there I worked as an respiratory tech for a home oxygen therapy company. After starting a family, I worked as program manager for a senior congregant lunch program. I relocated from Ocean Beach to Oceanside and have been working as an independent contractor on several different cases. I love the work I do and I'm good at it. I'm reliable, dependable, trustworthy, outgoing and friendly. I have reliable transportation with a good driving record and can easily pass a background check. I don't drink smoke or do drugs... I am excited to be considered for the open position of caretaker that this company has posed. Over my long career in the maintenance. I began working in caretaking more than three years ago, during which time I have advanced to hold more sophisticated. I became a caregiver, because I saw how much a home health aide helped my grandmother through her cancer, it inspired me to help others and give back to the community. I am currently a full-time student athlete at the University of Cal State LA. I enjoyed being a caregiver because it gives you the opportunity to learn about people, and their different backgrounds. My biggest achievement thus far would be me starting a mental health group at my university and letting thousands of students talk to me when things are rough. I went through depression and once I was okay I realized how many people suffer in silence and it was my duty to help bring awareness and make sure students had the resources to keep a good state of mind.In my current position, I maintain an efficient and organized work mentality as I assist in the care of several patients, dealing with mental health illnesses, chronic diseases, dementia, Alzheimer's, disabilities and etc. I have a knack for problem solving and work well independently and with little oversight. I am compassionate, outgoing, and resourceful. I am a self-starter and excel at housekeeping, engaging clients with light activities, and meal preparation. I am familiar with caregiver protocols and learn new procedures quickly. I hope to contribute to your patient care goals.

My original roots started in Southern California I am here again changing my destiny by the will of GOD. I am a studious ambitious tidy artist healthy woman who had the pleasure of raising sons in Northern California. I started caregiving in 2000 because it was GOD's will for me to do so.
