I am a compassionate,kind patient, trustworthy and reliable person. I was attracted to caregiving because it is a job that has the potential to to make a difference in someone's life. I enjoy interacting with them and taking care of them makes me feel like am part of the family. The personal achievement that am proud of is knowing that my time ,presence and efforts can provide comfort to someone .

Ive been a care giver all my life. Im positive, helpful, patient, diligent and punctual. Im very interested in people and helping them get tasks done, and generally being a kind and loving friend . any time i need a job, im able to get one, i have many skills.

These are some of the qualities that I value and am known for as a caregiver: Self motivation- I enjoy looking for new ways in which to assist in or improve a situation. Reliable- I am a stable part of my client's lives by showing them that I can be present and on time when they need me. Respecful- I demonstrate the importance of being kind and patient with my clients in order for them to keep their dignity and happiness. I was attracted to being a caregiver because I enjoy making people feel comfortable and cared for whether that be physically or emotionally. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver are the friendships the have formed. Being able to assist while engaging with clients is the highlight of my day. Even if they are limited in their communication, I enjoy the connection with them through something as simple as a smile. A personal achievement I am proud of is attending college while keeping excellent grades because I make it a goal to work hard at whatever I am doing.

Hello I am Alicia- I have done private home care for approx. 10+ years. I find it very rewarding to give the care I wish to receive for myself or family members if/when I may need help doing everyday tasks. I raised 4 children & now have beautiful grandbabies to enjoy & visit them as often as I'm able to. For the past year & a half I've lived with my dad caring for him and his COPD- on November 21, 2022 he lost the fight against his disease. Since I moved to Colorado three years ago, I have pursued a career in home health working closely with clients that are all very near to my heart. I am a enthusiastic, patient, empathetic and caring individual doing my best to brighten up the lives of others! I would often volunteer in the facilities she worked at, and I started as a CNA myself when I was 16. I have experience in a variety of healthcare settings, from home care to facilities to pharmacies to disability care. I have completed extensive training in Alzheimer's and dementia care, intellectual and developmental disabilities and basic life support and first aid. I have always been passionate about helping people and I love being able to help seniors stay in their homes and maintain their independence. Being able to form connections with clients, getting to know what they enjoy, and supporting them in continuing to the things they love is very important to me. I'm 47 just old women. I have worked in the medical field since I was 17 years old. All the way from the elderly to Brian injury , labor and delivery and orthopedic rehab. Ages range from pre-me to over 100 yrs old. . I enjoy taking care of individuals and watching the progression from being born or recovering from a sickness or helping with a disability to allow them prolong they happiness in life.. I enjoy seeing someone happy because of what they have been threw out how they can make themselves and there loveled ones be happy and proud of what they have accomplished in there life. See them succeed as an individual in there life. Watch them get stronger and overcome obstacles that may arise in front of them. Grow and get healthy as much as they can to proceed in the adventures that come before then in life. I like seeing people strong and happy and I like helping them get there with all the caring that I have and teach them.
