I was born a care giver, I have been taking care of the sick and elderly from a child hood age, what makes me different is I have a genuine love for people children and adults. sickness is not a desire of any one but when it happens to some one my hearts goes out to the individual . My children are all grown up and most of my time besides taking care of the small needs of my adopted children are not being used care giving is gratifying when people in need you fill needed, I realize some time you find some in such pain they aren't happy and they show it that is the illness,. What i like the most about caregiving is the ability to treat those as I would want myself to be treated in time of need. I find that with compassion, good listening skills and trying to understand and empathize with my clients not only does my client feel loved but learn that they can work towards a goal, increase their independance or have one that will help meet my clients needs . I find it extremely rewarding personally and always find new friends and family along this path.
