Hello, I pray you're reading about me while all is well. You may see that I did not include a particular school of training. This is because all of my experience is hands on, from the private care of my own grandmother to the private care of others and then that as a caregiver for Home Instead Senior Care. I am a chef by trade, but I have a passion for & love the elderly and mentally disabled. When you have a natural passion for something you excel at it. This is what makes me a wonderful caregiver. I'm always willing to put in any extra time needed to learn new things. I love spending time with the elderly & mentally disabled, & I treat them as I would my own family. I understand that it is not always easy to have someone come into your home to help you do things you've been used to doing on your own. I treat every client of mine with the dignity & respect they deserve and am always willing to go above and beyond to make sure they are cared for. I enjoy listening to their stories, preparing nostalgic meals, & being a motivation & encouragement in any way that I can. I like to treat people how I would want to be treated. I put my foot in their shoe everyday and think of it as if it was me this is how I want someone to take care of me when I'm in that frame of mind or injured or sick. When my clients smile I know I did my job well. Being a caregiver you have to have a heart and a positive attitude. I'm very open minded and know what's right and wrong.

I'm very passionate about what I do. I treat each person I care for as I would my own family. The laughter and the smile I always keep on my face is what my past clients love about me. They all call me smiley or giggles. I choose this career after caring for several family members and loosing my mom and stepdad. I enjoy learning new things and gaining experience from them. It drives me to do a better job and care for my residence better.
