As you can tell from my resume, l am currently working as a Caregiver, with ClarityCaregivers company and my duties mainly are to stay awake at night and keep a close eye on the safety of residents, give them medications and keep record of what happens during my shift. Previously worked as a SupportWorker, tried to encourage clients to live an independent life, attended to their personal care, administered medication, and reported to the Program Coordinator. My proudest moments in these jobs is when dealing with difficult clients bt at the end l was able to get them to calm down and take their medication ( that is where my patience was exercised). I've been trained & also have worked with Alzheimer's, & dementia. My grandmother whom I took care of for a couple years also had this disease. I've been trained on hoyer lifts many times. Also I've been educated on puree foods, thicken liquids & mechanical soft. I have a family of 2 of which I absolutely adore. My 13 yr old son & 1 yr old little girl. They keep me busy when I'm not working our summers consist of baseball games, swimming & learning something new everyday.

I have worked as a hair stylist in long-term care for over 10 years. I truly love caring and helping the elderly. I have learned how to transfer residence from wheelchair to chair. I enjoy helping them with daily needs. I love talking and listening to the residents that I have not only worked with but became friends with. I also have great relationships with the family and have kept great communication with them.

I have been a cna for 11 years and a qma for 4 years. I also have my certificate to give insulin. I love taking care of people and I'm currently in school to become a nurse. Since doing agency I always thought about having one client I can take care of, bond with, and be there for them as long as I'm needed.
