I have been doing Home Health Care for 20+ years. I have taken care of a wide variety of clients right down to family. I feel that since I was taken care of by the state as a child, my way of giving back is to take care of my loved ones. I enjoy seeing the smile on my client's faces when I walk through their door. I am currently going to school as Occupational Therapy Assistant and am looking forward to applying it to great use with clients in the future.

I am a retired LPN , who now have decided to do one on one care with clients. My skills include all CNA training in addition to physical assessments, wound care, patient teaching, medication administration, geriatrics, pediatrics, medical surgical nursing, and companionship with my clients. I have various references available upon request. I have been in the medical profession for 21 years. I sincerely get satisfaction from caring and taking care of others I feel like I'm making a difference in someone's quality of life,and I like to make people happy. My personal achievement I'm most proud of is earning every single academic achievement award available at my college.Im also really funny, I have a great sense of humor.

I am a very friendly down to earth women of 61 years young. I have a vast array of professional experiences from recovering patients straight from the operating room that have had open heart surgery to caring for newborns. I had to retire in 2004 because I became very ill with lymphedema and a very painful bladder disease called interstitial cystitis. Being severely ill has made me even more caring and compassionate for anyone suffering from any illness. I like to incorporate family into my patient care as much or as little as the family member is comfortable. I believe that God allowed me to become ill so that I could become a very compassionate care giver. I actually CARE for my patients.

What makes me a great caregiver is because I love to share my love to other. Before I became a Nursing Assistant I was a caregiver for 6 years. I was a little girl helping my grandmother every weekend. I would prepare here meals feed her, bath her and everything. She would talk me through everything I needed to do. Then I really enjoyed taking care of her I went until the real world and started doing it on my own. I feel in love with it after that and I been loving it every since. What I like about being a caregiving. Is that I can be a blessing to someone by putting a smile on there face. Making someone feel safe are just giving them some on my time. Some patient don't even have family that want even go check on them. It makes my day when I can bless someone by perparing a meal are giving a warm bath. I have a really loving heart I treat my patients like my family because in my eyes they are like apart of my family. I love to pray with my patients I take them home in my prayers. My personal achievement im proud of is becoming a loving, caring and honest person....

I have over 25 years experience in the field fast learning dedicated to my client and my job, I've always wanted to grow up and be able to help those who can't help themselves that's why I became a caregiver I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me great joy to do something for a person that can't do it themselves l love what I do, and my biggest achievement in was being a single mom of three children and being able to raise them to be the respectful adults they are now it was not an easy task but with God's help we made it.

I became a caregiver because I love to be a help to people. At the age of 18 I was introduced to caregiving. I am now 31 years of age and have continued my career path as a caregiver. I originally became a caregiver so that I could go in and care for my elderly disabled cousin when she first moved to my area, however I was never placed with her, but I was hired and placed with other clients and it was almost like second nature to me, I absolutely loved it so that's when I decided to take the caregiving career path. So far it has been a success and I've learned so much and am now able to care for many different types of cases with ease. My skills go beyond caregiving though, I also have worked in an emergency room as an emergency room technician which allowed me to gain more knowledge within the medical part of care. while I was working there, I acquired certifications in BLS/First Aid/AED use, EKG technician, Drug screening and breath alcohol testing, as well as picked up many skills in behavior health, orthopedics, heart care, stroke care, wound care, and so much more. My favorite thing about caregiving is knowing that I am there for those who were there for my generation and knowing that they are in great hands is just a couple of my favorite things about caregiving. Most of all I'd have to say, I absolutely love spending time with my clients and giving them the companionship that they need and deserve so that they do not have to worry about being lonely. The saying is true that people can die from loneliness and its heartbreaking knowing how many people do have to live without anybody in their lives. If I could be there for them all I would. I am always so happy to be in their presence knowing I'm making a difference in that person's life. It is a sense of fulfillment to me as if I am doing exactly what I was destined to do.
