I have been a caregiver 37 years. Always had a good repore with elderly growing up. Being there to help a loved one played a major roll in my job. I've worked in Assisted living facilities, Nursing homes and absolutely love it. I've used machinery like hoyer lifts, and other things. I'd prefer to stay away from that and heavy lifting. I also had my own assisted living years ago in upstate Ny.. I'm very experienced and I make it my buisness to be punctual and dependable. I take pride in my skills and I do my very best at all times. I am a positive person, patent, listen more, friendly, hard working, and more Before I become a caregiver, I was a cashier at retail store. I enjoyed working as a cashier but it was not what I need. And so, I did not stay long because I need a job that will prepare me for my personal goals so medical field has been a good fit. So I started by taking CNA class. Afterward, I start working a nursing home and home health aide. Currently, I'm working asRMA. I like being a caregiver and RMA because It makes me happy when I met their need. Eventually, being a good caregiver and RMA will benefit me to become a better nurse. All in all, I have a good experience of doing ADL and administering meds. Through my experience, I have learned and practice a good patient care and go by according to patient/client need. I enjoy being a caregiver and RMA.

20+ years of caring for Hospice patients, Alzheimer's patients, Dementia patients, mental health patients, Autism patients, Diabetes patients, blind patients, incontinent patients, total care clients, seniors, clients that are immobile, etc. I have a passion for seniors that want to age in place and my ministry is that of a caregiver. I am a licensed home health aide, CPR certified, First Aide/AED certified. I have a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor Degree in Administration and Management. I am a licensed minister.

I became a Caregiver/Home Health Aid while caring for my grandmother who passed away. After she became ill - I cared for her, bathed her, changed her and her bedding, fed her, watched TV and read with her and cooked and cleaned for her. I enjoyed doing this and spending time with her knowing that she was getting the proper care. I have many skills I am a violist, a dancer, a bartender and I Home Health Aid. I enjoy all of these and what I enjoy most is getting to know the different people.

Caregiving is what I live for and has been my job for as long as I can remember. Whether providing a helping hand and services to relatives or neighbors, the appreciation for companionship means the world to me because the responsibility is shared amongst the caregiver and patient for personal achievement and growth!

I am very companionate and my greatest wish is to lift up someone who really needs help. I have grand parents who are growing old and providing assistance has always been my joy and I worked in an organization for persons with disabilities, that is one of the best time because I was able to provide assistance and was a voice to the voiceless. It is my passion to do same wherever I am . Put a smile on someone's face and make them see hope, I can say I have been able to do that because most of my client are uplifted.
