I have been a caregiver 37 years. Always had a good repore with elderly growing up. Being there to help a loved one played a major roll in my job. I've worked in Assisted living facilities, Nursing homes and absolutely love it. I've used machinery like hoyer lifts, and other things. I'd prefer to stay away from that and heavy lifting. I also had my own assisted living years ago in upstate Ny.. I'm very experienced and I make it my buisness to be punctual and dependable. I take pride in my skills and I do my very best at all times. When my client is satisfied with my job and has a smile on her/his face. When my client was on her dead bed and her last request was to see her angel and hug her for the last time. When she was asked who the angel is, she said is Jane. As soon as I walked in her room, my client gave me a big hug and a smile, and she said, that's my angel, take care of her.

I am a passionate person who enjoys taking care of those that cannot care for themselves or may need an extra hand. Prior to becoming a caregiver I volunteered for 3 years at a very young age at a local nursing home helping clients with activities which is when I knew I wanted to help others. My Clients means alot to me because I understand that I feed my family from what they pay me. Therefore, I sherish them and treat them with due respect. I have a background where I took care of my Grandfather for two good years, when he fell and became hemipledgic. I have loved taking care of Seniors ever since. 1993. In 2004, I did my CNA, and I have worked as a caregiver ever since. I have seen Seniors go through geriatric challenges and I have been a very close person to them, until when they leave this word. I have learnt to love and to provide care and support that they deserve until their last day. I am not bragging, but I have been a good friend to anyone who fell in my hands as a recipient.
