1) Dignity and respect
2) When I walk into someone's home, I'm walking into their world. I dont expect them to walk into mine. Its about them and their needs.
3) Everyone is an individual. Same diagnosis does not mean the same kind of care. My care is based on the individual and their wants and needs.
4) Patience and being a great listener. How else will I know what is needed and wanted.
I have provided care for many people. I've been told I probably know it all but I dont and I won't until I've taken care of everyone! Each person is different and I am always learning.
