I'm proud of my self for helping and being able to share love to the elderly I like experiencing and helping them through with what ever they are speaking and able to give them a good attention

What drew me to this field initially was when my grandmother had a heart attack. There are some good hospitals in florida (where I lived at the time) but majority are poor quality. Unfortunately, my grandmother ended up in one that wasn't great quality. At 16 years old, I stayed in her hospital room, sleeping on the floor, to ensure that if she needed to toilet, I could help her. I helped bathe her, and spent time with her. I did tasks that a CNA should have been performing, but it was the best thing for her because it gave her a sense of dignity in a moment of her life that was hard enough as it was. I have been working towards getting my RN completed ever since; while this goal has still not been accomplished, I am working towards it. Family is important to me, as I'm sure it is to you for your loved one. I am a single mother of 2 boys, recently divorced. I am a hard worker, and very passionate about what I do. I take my time where it matters, and recognize that there is always room for education and improvement.

I just always had a passion to help others it's just something I love doing. Being able to give someone that extra help they need so that they can stay in their own homes makes me love what I do even more and also just seeing the joy that I bring into their lives not only makes their day but it also makes mine. Going back to school and receiving 3 certifications was a big accomplishment for me. I am a motivated quick learning who is eager to help others. I am very passionate about my work, I love what I do. I believe a caregiver should be someone that the patient can trust undoubtedly, and be able to bond with. After all we spend so much time with someone in their home everyone needs to be comfortable. I don't just see caring for people as a service but an honor. To be able to get to know someone's life, likes, dislikes and story all make this type of work extremely rewarding. **Will be available full time any hours after May first. Until then times will need to be set up in advance. My other job is 2-10 pm.

When I became a caregiver, I chose to do so out of the satisfaction I get from helping other people. There are often too many people out in the world who need assistance or just someone to be there for them, and all to often I find that the one's who answer the call are the one's who do not share tat compassion. I hoped to change the face of care giving. What I like most about being a caregiver is the relationship that I am able to build with my clients.
