I'm proud of my self for helping and being able to share love to the elderly I like experiencing and helping them through with what ever they are speaking and able to give them a good attention

What makes me a great caregiver is that I pay attention to details. I do exactly what I'm told, asked and also give advice according to my expertise and I tell the truth about what is needed when it matters. I first started working with elders within my monastery taking care of their basic needs and taking them back and forth to doctor's appointments and following their doctors care of plan. That transmitted to my professional work life as a certified nursing aide, as I work in the nursing homes and also in private home settings. It brings me joy to see those who are in need of help receive the assistance that they need without taking away their dignity and also giving them the extra help that's necessary.... at the same time allowing them to do what they can for themselves. I have a broad range going from helping those with terminal illnesses all the way to those who just need extra assistance around the house. There is no job too big or too small for me to do.

Hello! I started out as a certified nurse aide in the year 1999. I decided to help care for people when helping care for my great grandmother. It felt great to be able to be there for someone in their time of need. I have since cared for so many different types of ailments, diseases and people who need general household help. I've ran errands, did light cleaning, fed, bathed, assisted with walking. Cooked meals, taken them to appointments, also sat as a companion. I've helped others go through hospice care, cancer care, Parkinsons, dementia, alzheimers, sundowners, after surgery care, wound care, broken body parts, stiff body parts...lots of different things. I've been helping the elderly population for 24 years now. I enjoy being there, listening/talking with them, going out to lunch or shopping. Staying in doing puzzles or watching old westerns or just simply being there for them in any way I can. I've spent time with others on holidays as well. It's interesting to spend time with people and hear their life stories of "how it used to be" or to see how town was in the 40's or 50's or back when there was horse & buggy rides to school...enjoy it all. I like to spend my time with my grandbabies also doing crafts or watching my favorite series. Family is everything to me, we all try to be there and help each other as much as we can. I just always had a passion to help others it's just something I love doing. Being able to give someone that extra help they need so that they can stay in their own homes makes me love what I do even more and also just seeing the joy that I bring into their lives not only makes their day but it also makes mine. Going back to school and receiving 3 certifications was a big accomplishment for me. I am a motivated quick learning who is eager to help others. I am very passionate about my work, I love what I do. I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes as well as homecare settings.

I'm very outgoing and open to any positive experiences that help me become a better caregiver. I love seeing the smile on the elderly face when I'm doing the right thing to help them get better everyday. I enjoy giving my patients company and talking to them and hearing about all there wonderful achievements they accomplished. When I became a caregiver, I chose to do so out of the satisfaction I get from helping other people. There are often too many people out in the world who need assistance or just someone to be there for them, and all to often I find that the one's who answer the call are the one's who do not share tat compassion. I hoped to change the face of care giving. What I like most about being a caregiver is the relationship that I am able to build with my clients. I've been working in a nursing field for 20 plus years. I have experience in many different aspects of the nursing field. I'm very caring and compassionate and love what I do. I've had my CNA HHA and also graduated Bryant and Stratton college. And received the degree in health services administration. I currently am going for my bachelor's. Very reliable and dependable.
