my name is Yolande. I live in Groton. CT. I'm currently a student nurse at TRCC about to graduate this May. I have been in the health care fill working from nursing to Group home since 2015 roughly a year from my arrival in this country. my passion has always been to help those who are in need to live a meaningful life. that is why I choose to work with the elderly, as special need individuals because I believe they are human being who was once healthy and strong and spend their lives taking care of other in every way shape or forms. to me, working with the elderly is a form of giving back to my community.

I feel I am a great caregiver because I care about the person as a whole and do not treat them as an object. Also, in almost 25 years I have a wide variety of experiences in a variety of settings. I have taken care of all age groups and have enjoyed all of it for various reasons. I began 5 years after my mother had passed and I had assisted in her care. My training began after leaving the printing industry. Now, I have come to a pinnacle and am attempting nursing school.

Hello my name is Megan, I am 27 years old. I have a medical assistant degree, CNA, phlebotomy and I have two more years of Nursing school left to become an RN. I have worked in many nursings homes, day programs, hospitals, hospice centers, group homes etc. I am familiar with medication given times if need be. All different types of medical conditions as well. I've worked with many of clients in the last 7 years. Hello! My name is Amy. I'm a very honest and dependable worker. Compassionate and kind, 32 yr old mother of 2 older boys (age 7 and 11). Bubbly & friendly, I am able to make connections with my patients to give them the comfort and often companionship they often need. I have been doing patient care for the last 3+ years, after leaving nursing school to care for family after becoming a single mom. I currently work in a critical care setting, so I have seen everything there is to see in terms of illness.
